Maye, Nix headline record-setting 2024 QB Country NFL Draft Class
QB Country achieved several historic milestones with this year’s NFL Draft Prep class. For the first time, two draft prep trainees – Drake Maye and Bo Nix – were selected in the first round, with Maye (#3/New England Patriots) ranking as the highest-ever QB Country-trained draft pick. With his selection at #12 by the Denver Broncos, Nix becomes the third-highest selection behind Maye and Daniel Jones (#6 pick in 2019). Additionally, trainee Devin Leary earned a sixth round selection (pick #218) by the Baltimore Ravens and Carter Bradley (Las Vegas Raiders) and Gavin Hardison (Miami Dolphins) signed as undrafted free agents, bringing the total number of 2024 NFL Draft Prep trainees on NFL training camp rosters to five – a single year record. Although not part of the draft prep class, another longtime QB Country trainee John Rhys Plumlee signed as an undrafted free agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
QB Country’s draft prep training continues to deliver results, with 15 quarterbacks drafted over the last eight NFL drafts, including four first round picks in the last five drafts. A total of 18 trainees have participated in the last eight NFL combines.
“We couldn’t be more excited for our 2024 draft prep class. These guys worked their tails off during training and have what it takes to make a big impact at the next level,” said QB Country founder David Morris. “It’s especially rewarding to watch quarterbacks that have been training with us for years like Drake and Bo grow and develop and achieve their NFL dream. And they all know the work is really just beginning.”
QB Country’s draft prep program includes specialized training, strength and conditioning, movement, nutrition and recovery, and interview/meeting prep. The goal is to ensure a differentiating performance during each of the three phases of the draft prep process: all-star games, NFL Combine and NFL Pro Day. Each class is small and selective, ensuring a high level of personalized attention and development.
