Former University of Kentucky quarterback and Chattanooga native Reese Phillips leads QB Country Chattanooga. A top Tennessee high school recruit, Coach Phillips played at both UK and the University of Montana, where he was a starter and team captain. A leg injury ultimately cut his playing career short, but Phillips’ love for the game and passion for the quarterback position led him to coaching.

Phillips honed his craft with some of the top offensive minds in football, including Neal Brown and Shannon Dawson at Kentucky and Bob Stitt at Montana. When the injury ended his senior campaign, he continued in the role of “undergraduate student coach” and has continued to be a student of the game ever since.

“We are thrilled to have Reese on our team,” said QB Country founder David Morris. “He is a natural leader who has earned the respect of coaches at every level. He is an outstanding, enthusiastic role model and mentor for our young quarterbacks.”

Phillips is excited to deliver QB Country’s proven training programs for young quarterbacks in Eastern Tennessee.
