Mickey is the CEO of The ANNEX Sports Performance Center in Chatham, NJ and head coach of QB Country New Jersey. Since 2006, The ANNEX has been the home to many of the top amateur and professional athletes in the northeast. As a former collegiate athlete whose career was cut short by injury, during college, Mickey turned his focus into understanding and developing athletes at a higher level. Over the last fifteen years he has focused a great deal of his attention on performance and injury prevention in overhead throwing athletes. Mickey has worked with athletes at all levels. Notably, some of his highest level athletes include: MLB First Round Draft Picks, Cy Young Award Winner, Super Bowl MVP, World Series Champions and Super Bowl Champions. He has also been featured in such publications as MLB Network, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, USA Today and the New York Post for his work with athletes.
The partnership between QB Country and The ANNEX is the result of Mickey’s friendship with QB Country founder David Morris. The two met through training their mutual client, Eli Manning. (Morris and Manning are longtime friends and former college teammates at Ole Miss.)
“We’ve always wanted to create more mainstream arm care, hip mobility and overhead athlete training programs with quarterbacks,” said Morris. “Mickey and his ANNEX team are leaders in this area and have had great success with major league pitchers and guys like Eli — keeping them healthy, strong and successful for the long haul. There is a lot of crossover in our work and the science behind it. This is a unique opportunity to bring the best of what we both do to quarterbacks in the northeast.”

Allan is a former Vanderbilt University and Mississippi State University quarterback and New Jersey high school player of the year. He serves as coach for QB Country New Jersey, teaming with Mickey Brueckner to provide world-class training for quarterbacks throughout the Northeast. Walters honed his quarterback skills under the tutelage of some of college football’s top offensive minds, including Mike Leach and Andy Ludwig, and was a longtime QB Country trainee. A graduate of the Peddie School, Walters earned All-American honors and a state title during his senior year of high school. His passion for the position and love for football and helping others inspired his transition to coaching.
“We are extremely excited to have Allan joining the team in New Jersey,” said QB Country New Jersey director Mickey Brueckner. “I’ve had the pleasure of coaching him and now coaching alongside him and know he will have a major impact on young quarterbacks in New Jersey and beyond.”
