Senior Prep: Bentley has busy summer off campus

Bentley spent another time period in the deep south, a trip down to Mobile, Ala. to work with QB Country quarterback trainer David Morris. Working on his mechanics, Bentley was assured what he was learning under Morris aligns with the coaching he receives in Columbia under veteran quarterbacks coach and offensive mind Dan Werner.
“They communicate a lot, I’d say every week. David played at Ole Miss and obviously Coach Werner coached there,” Bentley said. “They know each other and they are in touch. It’s something I think is beneficial, that they are on the same page all the time. I feel David has helped me tremendously this summer mechanically, getting more sound and I feel it’ll be good for me.”
