Mobile, AL – QB Country, the nation’s leading quarterback development and training company, welcomes two new coaches to the staff team and announces the launch of training locations in New Orleans and Shreveport, Louisiana.

Former Southeastern Louisiana University star Eli Sawyer will lead QB Country New Orleans. Former Portland State quarterback and highly-regarded high school coach Kramer Hagan will lead QB Country Shreveport.

With the addition of New Orleans and Shreveport, QB Country now directly serves 16 locations across the country, delivering world-class training programs to middle school, high school, college and pro quarterbacks in nearly every U.S. region.

“We are thrilled to have two talented, dynamic coaches leading our training in Louisiana,” said QB Country founder David Morris. “New Orleans is one of our original markets and a hotbed for quarterback play and the Shreveport area has long been an underserved region with incredible opportunity and potential.  With headquarters in Mobile and strong locations in Mississippi and Dallas, TX, it was important for us to have a great solution for Louisiana. In building our company in these new markets, it’s all about finding the right guys that share our “long road” belief system and love of football. We found fits in Eli and Kramer. ”

At Southeastern Louisiana Sawyer started 20 games under coach Frank Scelfo and helped lead the program to multiple winning seasons and its first conference championship since 2014. He is a native of Birmingham, AL and was a longtime QB Country trainee during his playing career. Sawyer has also served as a counselor and coach at the Manning Passing Academy.

“I loved my time training with QB Country and look forward to giving back to a football community that has given so much to me,” said Sawyer. “Louisiana has a special place in my heart and I am thankful for the opportunity to coach the best position in all of sports with the best training company in the country.”

A Sacramento, CA native known for his offensive expertise at the high school coaching level, Hagan made his mark on the field as one of the most prolific quarterbacks in California history before earning a scholarship to Portland State where he played for legendary coach and run-and-shoot innovator Mouse Davis.

“This area is full of talent, and it’s a privilege to expand QB Country into the Ark-La-Tex,” said Hagan. “I’m thrilled to share my knowledge and passion for the game to help quarterbacks from this region elevate their skills and achieve their goals.”

QB Country has a long track record of training Louisiana quarterbacks, including current Texas quarterback Arch Manning and the current top-ranked quarterback in the Class of 2027, Elijah Haven. Coach Morris also serves in a leadership role for the annual Manning Passing Academy in Thibodaux, LA. The addition of Sawyer and Hagan serve to strengthen QBC’s presence in the Bayou state.

“Eli and Kramer have deep roots in Louisiana,” said Morris. “I know they are looking forward to helping young quarterbacks grow and succeed.”

QB Country’s proven training programs have delivered remarkable results for hundreds of quarterbacks. Over the last seven years, more than 250 QB Country-trained high school quarterbacks have earned college scholarships, with 61 quarterbacks signed to play in the Class of 2025. Since 2011, QB Country quarterbacks have won six FBS National Championships. Current high-profile trainees include NFL rookie stars and 2024 first-round picks Drake Maye and Bo Nix, and 2025 NFL Draft hopefuls Riley Leonard and Tyler Shough. QB Country boasts six first-round picks since 2016 and 15 QBs drafted in the last eight NFL Drafts. In 2024, eight QB Country trainees started NFL games.
