Daniel Jones impresses in preseason debut
New York Giants rookie Daniel Jones, a longtime QB Country trainee, is off to an impressive start this preseason, including going 5-5 for 67 yards and a touchdown in his NFL debut — a victory against the Jets. He also has made believers out of teammates, as noted in a piece by Paul Kasabian/Bleacher Report:
Most importantly, Jones impressed superstar teammate and running back Saquon Barkley, who spoke about the quarterback’s performance.
“I think he did an unbelievable job, understanding the offense, reading the defense, putting the ball where it needed to be,” Barkley said. “He did an amazing job of going down and putting points on the board.”
