Briarwood QB Christopher Vizzina talks Ohio State offer, Alabama and Auburn interest

Briarwood Christian 2023 QB Christopher Vizzina added another huge college offer to a growing list this week. Vizzina and his mom took a quick trip to Ohio State earlier this week where he picked up an offer from coach Ryan Day and the Buckeyes. “It’s a pretty big deal,” Vizzina told AL.com on Thursday night while traveling back to Birmingham from Columbus, Ohio. “It’s a great opportunity. It’s definitely one of my top schools and I’m definitely excited about the offer.”
In addition to his recruiting trek, Vizzina also is doing plenty of work on the field.
“I’m trying to get bigger, faster, stronger,” he said. I’m in the weight room all the time. I’ve been working with Ben Neill (QB Country) on consistency. I feel like I’ve gotten a lot better in the last year and a half. I go every Thursday after school and work on hips and motion and finding tweaks. There is always something new to work on. I wouldn’t say I’m even close to being how good I hope I can be.”
