Bowl season off to a strong start for QB Country trainees

This year’s Bowl season is a busy one for QB Country trainees.

Levi Lewis capped his record-breaking college career by leading No. 16 Louisiana to a Sun Belt title and 36-21 victory over Marshall in the New Orleans Bowl and earning game MVP honors…Grayson McCall threw three touchdowns in Coastal Carolina’s 47-41 Cure Bowl win over Northern Illinois — Coastal’s first-ever bowl victory — to conclude a season in which he set the FBS record for passing efficiency (207.6) and earned his second straight Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year award.
