QB guru David Morris weighs in On Ole Miss commit Kinkead Dent

Morris believes Dent will be a near perfect fit in Ole Miss’ current offensive scheme. He cites his strong arm, quick mind, soft touch on passes and underrated athleticism.
“He has the strongest, young arm I’ve ever had,” said Morris.
Does Dent remind Morris of any previous Ole Miss quarterback?
“He’s got a little Eli Manning to him. Absolutely. He’s long, he’s rangy, he’s a really good athlete. He’s somewhat reserved. He’s not a rah-rah guy, but on the field he lights it up,” said.
Morris, who spent four year’s at Ole Miss as Manning’s roommate.
What is Ole Miss getting in Dent? Morris answers.
“He’s as talented as anybody I’ve ever had. He’s a guy that’s just scratching the surface of his abilities. He will continue to get better as a passer, as a player and as a quarterback. He has the ability to be special at this position and to play it for a long, long time,” said Morris.
