QB Coker motivated to ‘prove’ himself at pro day

Following the success and notoriety he had at Alabama, it was a bit surprising that Coker wasn’t one of the 18 quarterbacks invited to last month’s combine. The combine provides prospects an opportunity to show their stuff and meet with all 32 NFL teams prior to their school’s pro day.
So, with the added motivation of his combine snub, Coker and Morris went back to work, spending the previous three weeks preparing “pretty hard,” according to Morris, for Alabama’s pro day, which starts at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the school’s indoor practice facility.
