In down QB draft, CMU’s Cooper Rush ‘can be a starter in the league’

Rush spent five days a week training with David Morris, passing coach and founder of QB Country, an Alabama-based training program, in the weeks leading up to March’s NFL combine.

He did footwork drills every Monday and Friday, had long throwing sessions Tuesday through Thursday, and together the two worked to widen his base at the top of his dropback in order to incorporate more of his lower body into his throwing mechanics.
