College QB Takeaways from Manning Passing Academy

The 26th annual Manning Academy took place in Louisiana over the weekend. And while a commitment from Arch Manning briefly took over the buzz at the camp – Manning committed to Texas a few hours before the event was set to begin – there were plenty of other storylines from the weekend.

This includes the more than 40-plus college quarterbacks who were on hand as camp counselors. Arch Manning did not throw during the weekend as he was held out due to a minor wrist injury. But almost all of the college passers did, including those like Heisman winner Bryce Young and projected first-rounder Will Levis.

The college QBs threw twice in showcase situations during the weekend, once on Friday in a skills event and another time on Saturday afternoon in more of a competitive training session.

The Saturday afternoon session at the Manning Academy was all of the college quarterbacks training with Peyton and Eli Manning along with Jordan Palmer and Davis Morris of QB Country.
