As a starter that year, Boone led Duke to a 9-2 record despite suffering a fractured collarbone in week two at Memphis. He completed 64% of his passes and threw for 2,260 with 13 TDs.

As a Senior in 2014, Boone was once again was voted a team captain and started all 13 games for the Blue Devils. He led Duke to another 9 win season, marking the first time in Duke history to accomplish back to back 9 win seasons. Boone threw for more than 2700 yards & 19 TD’s. He received honorable mention All-ACC honors and was named Duke’s MVP.

“I’m excited to further the QB Country brand into the Carolinas,” said Boone. “I’m also excited for the opportunity to give back to the Carolinas every bit of knowledge I’ve gained from Coach David Cutcliffe, Kurt Roper, Scottie Montgomery and David Morris.” Boone is Duke University’s all-time winningest quarterback and a member of the 2013 ACC Coastal Division Championship team.
