
Bonus
A message from QB Country founder David Morris:
The inspiration for the “Bonus” section comes from my time being coached by David Cutcliffe (now head coach at Duke) and Kurt Roper (now offensive coordinator at Colorado). The “QB Bonus” was the last page or two of the “quarterback test” we took on the eve of game day at Ole Miss. The “QB Bonus” typically had nothing to do with football. Instead, these handwritten quotes and lessons were about being a good man, a good friend and a good leader.
I appreciate the wisdom shared in those lessons more now than I did then. I still have every “Bonus” Coach Cut ever wrote (almost 50 separate groups of quotes over a four-year period). This page pays homage to Coach Cut and continues the “QB Bonus” tradition at QB Country.
