Ben is a 2010 graduate of Decatur High School in Alabama where he was a three-year starter at quarterback, Regional Elite 11 MVP and all-state performer. He holds almost every quarterback statistical record at Decatur High. Neill signed with Samford University in 2010. In 2013 he helped lead the Bulldogs to their first Southern Conference championship while playing under head coach and Heisman Trophy winner Pat Sullivan. He also played quarterback under offensive coordinators Travis Trickett (the current offensive coordinator at FAU) and Rhett Lashlee (the current offensive coordinator at Auburn).

Neill started training quarterbacks with QB Country full time in 2014 and has managed the Birmingham area since. He has trained more than 200 quarterbacks varying from youth football to the NFL with QB Country. He assisted with the draft prep and pro day of AJ McCarron (2014) and Jacob Coker’s (2016). In 2016 he trained Carson Barnett (Samford University), Jalen Whitlow (Kentucky), and Arsenio Favor (Southern Miss) for their pro days. Neill and QB Country helped 19 quarterbacks sign college scholarships in 2016.

“I had the privilege of coaching Ben Neill while he was a member of the Samford football team,” said Pat Sullivan, the former Heisman Trophy winner. “He is a fine, Christian young man and a hard worker. Ben has a great work ethic, outstanding character and strong leadership skills with the drive to succeed.

“Ben is a student of the game and has incredible football knowledge. Not only does he understand the X’s and O’s, he has a tremendous understanding of the fundamentals. He has the ability to teach and coach you on how to become the best Quarterback you can be. I would recommend Ben to help anyone in becoming a better quarterback.”
