One of QB Country’s first Quarterbacks will be leading his team into the NFL Playoffs. AJ McCarron was the 2nd string QB most of the year but when Andy Dalton went down with a thumb injury, AJ answered the call. McCarron has gone 2-1 filling in for Dalton and has yet to throw a pick while starting.

AJ McC

Dalton injured his thumb against the Steelers in week 13 and AJ was thrown into action in a game that ended in a Cincy loss. Over the last three weeks, AJ has lead the Bengals to W’s over the 49ers and Ravens, but ended up falling just short against Denver on Monday Night Football. This season AJ has completed 66.4% of his passes, throwing for 854 yards and 6 TD’s.

McCarron and company will face the Steelers one more time, to see who makes it to the 2nd round. If we have learned anything from AJ, it’s don’t count him out on the big stage.
