Daphne QB Trent Battle parlays work ethic, ability, intelligence into TCU commitment

Battle has been working with David Morris at QB Country since seventh grade. Battle now believes he’s ready to put all his training into action.

“My sophomore year I was just a good runner. My junior year I knew the passing game like the back of my hand. I was prepared,” said the 6-foot-1, 200-pound Battle. “This year I plan to find the perfect balance between running and passing.”

That prospect should have Daphne fans excited. But it also portends good things for TCU in the coming years.
