- Updated: January 11, 2016
QB Country will work with former Memphis QB Paxton Lynch, projected to be a top draft pick, on his preparation for the NFL combine, Pro Day and draft day process.
“We are very excited to have the opportunity, along with D1 Sports of Orlando, to get Paxton ready for the NFL combine, Pro Day and the draft process,” said QB Country’s David Morris. “We are ready to get to work.”
Charlie Taaffe, head of QB Country – Orlando, will lead Paxton’s QB training at D1 Orlando. Taaffe spent six seasons as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Central Florida before retiring. He played a key role in the development of former Knights quarterback Blake Bortles, who was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.
Lyle Henly, Head of D1’s NFL Combine Prep, will lead Paxton’s Strength & Speed program. Leigh Steinberg is Lynch’s agent.
