Duke’s All-Time Winningest QB, Anthony Boone preparing for NFL Draft with QB Country

Anthony Boone has more wins in his career as a Duke starting Quarterback than any other QB in the School’s history.  Boone is doing his Pre-Draft training with QB Country’s Jordan Rodgers and QB Country founder, David Morris at D1 Nashville.  Boone & Morris are both former QB’s under Duke HC David Cutcliffe & former Duke & Florida OC Kurt Roper.  Morris is excited and honored to be training a QB who comes from a similar cloth stating “I know how well he’s been coached.  I know what he comes from…the attention to detail that Coach Cut & Rope and Montgomery demand.  We couldn’t be more excited to be a part of his Draft Process.  This thing is all about people and relationships.  Football is how we come together and grow together.  Coach Cut and Rope were such integral parts of my growth as a player and person.  For us to be able to contribute to Anthony’s growth and to be a part of his team is exciting for us.”  Morris thinks he has the most under rated QB in the Draft.  “I believe Anthony Boone is the most mentally prepared QB in the NFL Draft.  This kid is smart, very smart.  He’s talented too!  He’s been the Quarterback for the most successful team in Duke History.  That doesn’t happen by accident.  He is very prepared and is used to the load an NFL OC will put on him.  He knows how to manage the line of scrimmage and particularly protections and fronts.”

Boone has received an invitation to take part in the NFL combine in Indianapolis in mid February.
